nice bike, but frustrating to assemble, March 4, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Huffy 20-Inch Flare Bike (Blue) (Sports) Assembling this bike was very frustrating to me. It comes partly assembled which helps, but the instructions are very generic and not specific to this bike. For most of it I had to just figure it out myself. One of the pedals was threaded reverse so the old "righty tighty, lefty loosy" didn't work. I had to turn it to the left to tighten it. It comes with two pads and the handlebar bag. I can't figure out where one of the pads is supposed to go and there is no mention of it in the directions. I seem to be short a screw so I can't install the front fender, but I figured that was minor. Also, the instructions are tiny - so make sure you have glasses and good light. I'm young with good eyes and even I had trouble reading it. Once assembled, it does work well. My daughter is 8 and she really likes it.
Next time, I'll pay an extra $20 and pick one up at Target that is already completely assembled. The hassle was definitely NOT worth it, but now that I'm done, I'm... Read more
